OPEN SEW!

Join us this Saturday - the 26th, 11:00-4:00 - for a great opportunity to sew with others. Begin that new project or finish one that's been sitting around. Enjoy being  with other quilters - and be amazed at how much you get done.

This 2-session will teach you basic paperpiecing skills and you’ll go home with a 33” x 41” wallhanging using Larkspur Lane Designs’ “...And In the Meadow...”, which includes embellishments. Please prepare for class by having all fabric strips pre-cut and copies made of all patterns for paper piecing.

For those looking for a challenge, this charming sampler wall hanging will help you develop accurate piecing skills.
The sample may be in reproductions, but this would be great in batiks or other colorways. You will also learn how to add framing and sashing around the blocks, which is a skill that can transfer to completing block-of-the-month quilts. After quilting your quilt, you will learn how to fi nish the edge with a scalloped border and binding.
